-One of the most sought after choreographers in the business working on projects in film, television, stage, and music videos.
-Choreographer and Dancer for commercials for Ford Mustang, Fanta, HTC Cell Phone, NordicTrac, Maceys, Marriott Hotels, and Canon
-Choreographer on America's Got Talent
-Choreographer and dancer in the hugely viral youtube videos "Stormtrooper Twerk", "World's Largest Treadmill Dance", "Harry Potter vs. Twilight", and "80s Dance Battle Ford Mustang" -Choregrapher for the film "Scott and Kassie's Christmas Adventure", starring Luke Perry.
-Choreographer for the NBA Utah Jazz Dancers.
-Travels around the nation choreographing for professional companies, schools, and dance teams, and has won numerous "high point" awards for his choreography.
-Can be seen acting in the films 17 Miracles, Once I Was A Beehive, Scents and Sensibility, and Read It and Weep.

Bio:
Ryan Ramirez has been dancing since age four with advanced training in Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and Contemporary style dance. Before bursting onto the scene on Season 8 of “So You Think You Can Dance”, Ryan gained notoriety and experience from assisting Emmy award winning choreographer Mia Michaels on multiple seasons of SYTYCD in the U.S. and Canada. Since becoming a finalist on SYTYCD herself, she has gone on to perform in music videos, industrials and on many large award shows including The Emmys, Video Music Awards, American Music Awards and the Kids’ Choice Awards. Ryan has an illustrious television resume performing on television shows such as “Dancing With The Stars”, “Glee”, “House”, “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson”, “American Idol”, “The Voice”, “America’s Got Talent” and “The X-Factor” to name a few. She has shared the stage with artists such as Beyoncé, Cher, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and Pitbull and performed alongside Katy Perry during her Super Bowl XLIX halftime show performance. You can also keep an eye out for her in the Academy Award winning film “La La Land” dancing next to Ryan Gosling and John Legend. Her outstanding work ethic and versatility has continued to make her one of the most sought-after female dancers in the entertainment industry.
Ryan has a true passion for sharing her love for the art of dance and has taught for many studios, intensives and conventions around the country. She firmly believes that being a great dancer and being a great teacher are two separate things and strives to always pass down the knowledge that she has gathered from her world-renowned mentors and esteemed teachers to her students. She prides herself on being able to teach proper technique as well as innovative, challenging, and versatile choreography. Most recently, Ryan had the opportunity to be the choreographer on the hit TV series “Dance Moms” with Cheryl Burke. Ryan can’t wait to be at SMJ!
